Which fit is stronger?

Range is a strong candidate when you want a flat-fee advisor to coordinate investments, retirement, estate, and household tax planning. AE Tax Advisors is a candidate when profitable business income, entity returns, rental property depreciation, or prior filing corrections make tax execution the main job. You may need both kinds of professional, but name one owner for estimated taxes and year-end coordination.

Ask both teams for a written first-year scope. Include the exact entities, states, rental properties, K-1s, and past returns to be reviewed. Compare total cost, deliverables, and the people who will do the work.
